Nothing is better than....

We got hit with a snow storm on the island this weekend.  In my Ontario life, I would have done the normal things, shopping running errands etc but that was pre covid and in a province that salted and ploughed streets. :)   Snow is rare on the island though and because the roads aren't salted or ploughed much it was a great weekend to stay in and craft.
So I wanted to share what I've been working on.

Whale Done!

The colours in the "Whale Done" Bundle are just beautiful. The blues and greens are so vibrant and I am addicted to making these cards.  They are so fun.
These cards are called shadow box tunnel cards.  Using the round dies for the windows make it look like an aquarium or a fish bowl. Well thats what I was aiming for anyway.

The bundle comes with the punch to cut out the whales.

A Guy Card

It's so hard to make a card for a guy don't you think?  I tend to create with colours, flowers, butterflies, birds etc so when I need to make a "guy card" I have a hard time coming up with a design.
I was asked to make a card for a co worker who had surgery and was off work for awhile.  After going through all my stamp sets I came up with this card.
I used 3 Stamp sets for this.  High Tide to create the water, By the Dock  and Mountain Air.     To order these stamp sets just follow this link

Sweet Ice cream

Love Love this bundle!  The colours are so bright and cheery.  It works with so many of the stampin up colours.
This card was made with white card stock, bermuda bay and 1 pc of the dsp.  I stamped the images in bermuda bay and pool party.  The sprinkles are stamped with blackberry bliss and finished off with blackberry ribbon.

This next card was made into a shaker card.  This was pool party cardstock and I used the painted texture embossing folder.   I cut a window using rectangle dies and my big shot.  The shaker part was using dsp  sprinkles and the clear envelopes.  Easy Peasy.  I am not sure I will ever go back to making shaking cards with window sheets.

The next card is made the same way only I stamped the ice cream cones and punched them out with the icecream cone punch.  This set is just gorgeous and you can punch out the ice cream scoop layers and cone from the dsp as shown in the previous card.  There is so much you can do with this set.  I'm excited to create a couple layouts for a scrapbook with it.  The price is reasonable and you only need the punch.  I love that Stampin Up offers so many kits and bundles with different price points.  They make something for every budget.  This set is great for beginners too because you don't need dies and a die cutting machine.
And ice cream is one of my favourite foods so its perfect!  :)  and no calories.

Here is a look at the bundle

Aloha From Hawaii

I just had to show you some of the amazing pics from our cruise to Hawaii.  This was the reason not much posted the last few weeks.  I'm...
